The Manger and the Miracle

In a world that shouts for attention,
the Savior came quietly. Luke 2:7 simply records, “She gave birth to her firstborn, a son… and laid him in a manger.” (NIV)

No parade.
No palace.

Just the soft cry of a newborn
in the arms of a teenage girl
surrounded by straw and starlight.

This is the miracle of Christmas—
God with us,
wrapped in humility,
 laid in a manger.

Not far away.
Not unreachable.
But here.
With you.

In the middle of your messy, beautiful, ordinary life—
Jesus comes close.

Tonight, let your heart pause.
Let the noise still.
Let the miracle sink in.

He didn’t come for perfection.
He came for presence.

Yours.
His.
Together.
He’s already here.

Whatever your Christmas Eve happens to be, my prayer for you today is that you will celebrate the deep joy of being a redeemed child of God with full access to His presence.

Merry Christmas Eve
