Maybe the world feels dim right now.
Maybe your heart feels tired,
your prayers feel quiet,
and your hope feels thin.
The prophet Isaiah prophesied about Jesus in Isaiah 9:2 when he wrote, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” (NIV)
Christmas isn’t for the ones who have it all together.
It’s for those walking in the dark,
waiting for light.
And the Light has come.
He has arrived.
He is here.
He came not as a flicker of hope, not as a flash of light— but as The Great Light.
Jesus said in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (NIV)
Jesus doesn’t ask you to light your own way.
He steps into the night with you,
and brings the sunrise of Heaven to your soul.
He is Light of the world, come as a guide to walk with you everyday.
Hold on.
Look up.
The Light still shines.
And breathe in this truth today:
You are not alone in the dark.
