I will never forget my first Christmas after receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
Before that moment, Christmas was fun. I loved picking out gifts, singing the carols, and enjoying the season. But I didn’t understand how powerful the story of Christmas really was.
Everything changed after I met Jesus.
Suddenly, the songs felt alive. The words weren’t just lyrics—they were truth. Every store became a place of worship. Every coffee shop, a quiet sanctuary to reflect on the miracle of God becoming human. The joy I felt wasn’t just seasonal—it was spiritual.
Traditions are beautiful, but a personal encounter with Jesus? That’s transformational.
Christmas is more than lights and music—it’s a divine invitation. Whether people realize it or not, the world joins together to celebrate the hope and love of God through Jesus. I didn’t understand it—until I did.
Luke 2:10-11 reminds us of this gift: “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem!” (NLT)
This Christmas, I’m praying that your eyes will be opened to see God’s glory all around you. May your heart be filled with awe and wonder as traditions become personal moments of revelation.
