When God calls you to rebuild what has been broken down, it is hard.
There are stubborn obstacles to overcome, new mindsets to establish, and old mindsets to demolish.
Sometimes it is just straight up war and you have to fight for what God is calling you to do.
When Nehemiah went back to Jerusalem to rebuild the wall, it was not easy and he faced fierce opposition. He knew the people would have to fight the enemy and build the wall together at the same time.
God told the people in Nehemiah 4:14, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord who is great and awesome and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” (NIV)
To live the life God is calling you to live you are going to have to fight and build at the same time.
But it is worth the fight.
You are worth the fight.
Your life is worth the fight.
Fight for healthy relationships.
Fight for healthy life rhythms.
Fight to become who God has created you to be and do what you are created to do.
Remember that God is great and awesome.
With Him all things are possible.
