Meant For Adventure

It is easy to slip into the habit of tending the graves of “what ifs” and “should haves.”

Life in Christ is a moment by moment adventure with God.

His life in you moves you from regret and wishes to revival and wonder.

Your life is no longer focused on who you “should” be or what you “should” do.

It is laser focused on the goodness of God and freedom to live loved everyday.

-17 reminds us that, “This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike ‘What’s next, Papa?’ God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children.” (MSG)

God will never ask you to “do-it-yourself,” He always comes to you with a “you-can-only-accomplish-this-with-Me” clause.

Friend, give your “should haves” and “what if’s” a decent burial and grab hold of the adventure of living in daily “thank yous” and “what is next, Papa?”
