A pilgrimage is the journey to a sacred place.
A pilgrimage for a Jesus follower is not about going somewhere that God has been before but it is inviting Him into where you are.
It is about inviting Jesus into your home, your job, and into every relationship.
Every place you invite God into becomes a sacred place.
When you journey every day with Jesus, He will give you what you need.
He will give you His abundant love, His cross-forged forgiveness, His sustaining strength, His perfect peace, His deep joy, and His unrelenting hope where you are.
It is a journey that will test your strength, challenge your tenacity and grow your faith and it will transform you.
That is what happens when your whole life is a pilgrimage with Jesus.
Psalms 84:5 says, “Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.” (NIV)
This is the journey you are made for.
