Grace and Favor

Today you will be venturing into unknown territory because you have never lived this day before. You don’t know what will happen, how other people’s choices will impact you or what problems you will come upon.

You may need to have a hard conversation with someone you love.

You may need to extend mercy for someone who doesn’t deserve it.

You may need to forgive someone who has hurt you or ask for forgiveness from someone you have hurt.

The Apostle Paul ends his first letter to the churches in Corinth in with this prayer, “May the grace and favor of our Lord Jesus be with you.” 1 Corinthians 16:23 (NLT)

My friend, whatever happens today I want you to know, deep down, that the grace and favor of Jesus is with you every step of the way.

The grace of Jesus is the grace of God that was with Him as He walked on the earth, went to the cross and rose from the dead.

His favor is the very favor of God that walked with Him through every situation He faced and in every relationship He had.

His grace and favor is for you today, with you to use in every relationship and in you to distribute to every person who needs it.

In every interaction you have today, may the grace and favor of our Lord Jesus be with you.
