Real Strength

Real strength doesn’t come from pretending you have it, but by admitting that you don’t.

Real power comes from knowing you can’t do life on your own and that you need help.

Real knowledge is knowing you need Jesus every day, in every way.

Asking Jesus for help isn’t weak, it is the essence of real strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “But he said to me,My grace is sufficient for you,  for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (NIV)

  1. I sure needed to read this this morning. I haven’t been feeling very strong lately. Being a caregiver to my husband who has dementia, sometimes makes me feel weak. But after reading this i know that’s OK because I can ask Jesus for help and he will meet me right where I am
