If you are going after God’s purpose for your life be prepared to face difficulties, deal with impossible situations, and fight some fierce battles.
Right before Jesus ascended to sit at the right hand of God, as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20, He gave His disciples this mandate: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV)
Jesus said that when you go after God’s purpose for your life, He will be with you.
Jesus says He will lead you to rest in the security of His love.
To pursue the power of His peace.
To find and capture the truth that is the freedom He died for you to live in.
God doesn’t say living His purpose for your life will be easy.
God’s promise is that His love is yours.
His peace is yours.
His freedom is yours.
You don’t have to earn it, you simply have to receive it.
Go after all God has for you and be prepared to face difficulties. Face them with God and with the power of His presence in your life.
May the power of God’s great love, grace, peace, knowledge, goodness, and faithfulness empower you to live fully in God’s purpose for you today.
