God’s Love Lasts

God never stops loving. It’s a love so enduring, so boundless, that it stands unshaken through all of time. 1 Corinthians 13:8a tells us that, “Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent.” (TPT)

This verse gently reminds us that while so much in life is fleeting, there’s one beautiful, eternal truth we can always hold on to—God is love. There will come a day when every prophecy in the Word of God is fulfilled. Every promise will unfold in its fullness, and even then, God will still be Love. The voices and languages of men and angels may one day grow silent, but His love will echo throughout eternity, unending and unfaltering.

There will be a moment when all questions fade, all words are spoken, and His agape love will reign supreme—not just over all, but within all.

Life can leave us feeling uncertain.

There are so many “whys” and “what ifs” that pull at our hearts. But even when answers feel far off, we can rest in this unchanging truth: God’s love was, is, and will always be. It doesn’t falter with the shifting of time or circumstances. His love is steady through every moment, through every season, through every hill and valley we face.

God’s love for you didn’t begin on a whim, and it’s not something that will fade.

It has been written across eternity for you to cling to. It was there before you took your first breath, and it’ll remain long after everything else is completed.

Rest in that truth today.

God’s love isn’t just a passing thought or a temporary kindness.

It is eternal.

It’s the foundation of all creation, the thread that weaves everything together, the melody that never ends.

And it’s for you.

Always.

Forever.

Just as He is.
