God’s love is patient, unhurried, and grounded in grace.
He isn’t quick to get upset with us.
He doesn’t hold grudges or lash out when we fall short.
Instead, His love remains calm, steady, and kind.
1 Corinthians 13:5 says, “Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense,” (TPT)
He loves you like this.
Are you receiving it?
I used to feel like God was always mad at me for not doing things right. I am so thankful to know that His love is not as easily irritated as mine is.
He knows everything about you and pours His love over you with joy.
God’s love in our lives offers us a higher way. His love absorbs the imperfections of others without letting irritation or offense take over.
Through Christ, we can cultivate love that isn’t reactive but is rooted in peace and grace.
The next time you feel irritation rise or offense knocking at your door, ask Jesus to help you respond with His love. Ask Him for a heart that forgives quickly, gives generously, and offers patience in abundance. Ask Him for a love that calms tensions, builds bridges, and nurtures understanding.
The world needs more of God’s love.
So do you.
As freely as you receive it, is how freely you will give it.
