God’s Love Is Patient

God’s love isn’t small or constrained. It’s vast, boundless, expansive and patient.

It’s marked by patience that goes beyond what we often think we’re capable of.

1 Corinthians 13:4 says that, “Love is large and incredibly patient.” (TPT)

His love isn’t rushed, reactive, or self-serving. It’s steady, enduring, and willing to wait.

God waits for us when we’re slow to trust Him.

He’s gracious when we stumble again in the same areas.

His love is large and His love is patient.

We are called to extend the same patience and grace we’ve been given.

Loving in this way means being patient when someone is frustrating.

It means choosing to see the bigger picture when you’re tempted to react in the moment.

It means believing the best about others, even when they fall short.

It is living in and giving a love that stretches wide and stays present, no matter the circumstances.

This love, God’s abundant love, transforms our lives and inspires others to receive it.

Today, I am asking God to help you see opportunities to receive His love for yourself and open your eyes to see His divine appointments to practice His patient, expansive love. In Jesus’ powerful Name, Amen.

  1. Today’s message hit home for me as I need patience with my husband, whom I love dearly after 37 years of sharing life with him. Thank you for this daily message:)
