In Every Situation

My friend, you can have a relationship with God and still get stuck in a mental tornado of worry and fear.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (NIV)

When you take your fear and anxiety to your loving Father and let Him hold it all, He becomes the calm in the midst of the storm and the eye of the tornado.

The peace of God is yours in Christ in every situation.

He is the safe place you run to and where you can rest untouched by the winds of fear whipping around you.
You have God and God has you.

Make a conscious choice to let God hold your “what ifs” and glorify Him for what is.

Choose to focus on what you have instead of dwelling on what you are afraid of.

Allow gratefulness for what you do replace the fear of what you don’t have.

God will provide what you need, when you need it.

Maybe you are facing an impossible situation today.

Go to your loving Father with it.

Give it to Him.

Leave it to Him.

Then ask for His power to open your eyes to see the beauty all around you and make a list of what you are thankful for and the peace of God will guard your heart and minds through your relationship with Jesus.
