I want you to know that today you don’t have to strive to take care of “number one” because you are in the care of Jesus.
Romans 5:1-2 says, “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” (NIV)
What a beautiful phrase: “this grace in which we now stand.”
In Christ you don’t have to stress to win the approval of others because you are accepted by God.
In Christ, you are openly invited by God to come close and let Him love you every minute of every day.
You don’t have to wait until tomorrow.
You don’t have to wait until later when your are “better.”
You are loved by God where you are and how you are.
His grace and mercy covers you.
You don’t have to wait until you get your life all together or until you “get better” at whatever you are trying to get better at.
Today is the day to receive all His love, power and truth.
Don’t wait for someday, live in the truth of God’s love for you today.
