Make a New Mistake Today

Just so you know: you are going to make a mistake today.

Probably more than one.

It will not be the end of the world.

Failure is not fatal.

Proverbs 24:16 says that, “The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.” (NLT)

You will never get anywhere if you run back to what you know at every challenge.

A mistake means that you are trying, so pick yourself up off the ground and try again.

Yes, it is difficult.

Don’t give up.

Persevere.

Learn from it and try again.

1 Timothy 6:11 says to, “Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.” (NLT)

So, go ahead and make a mistake or two, or three.

Risk failure.

Fail.

Then get up, learn and try again.
