My friend, do you feel like quitting today?
Don’t.
Don’t quit.
Don’t give up.
There are some gifts that only come from facing the hard things.
There is some growth that only comes from holding onto God through the toughest times.
There is a maturity that only develops as you persevere when everything around you is uncomfortable, difficult, and hard.
James 1:4 reminds us to, “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (NIV)
Don’t give up.
Hold on to Jesus and let perseverance do its work in you.
Don’t quit.
Hold on and trust Jesus.
I believe that He wants to use this time in your life to grow you, to bring you wholeness, to bring the parts that are broken and disconnected back together as you let perseverance finish it’s work.
If you quit halfway through you may never know what God has for you.

Please say an extra prayer for my daughter Lauren who passed away july 1st at 20 years old. Days I feel like quitting but knowing God more now through beloved and grief share has truly helped me. My daughter was very deep into her faith and always said…’whatever her Creator needs…she is there for him’. She had a seizure and drowned. She was re baptized March 28th in Tuscaloosa, AL where she went to college. I have registered to be baptized on ministry night. I’m so excited… I am so ready to give it all to God. My heart is forever broken but I know she walks right beside me and is so proud how close I am getting to God and my journey in my faith. God bless you Pastor Cindy.
