If you are growing in your relationship with Jesus, the enemy will try to discourage you from continuing that.
He wants you to quit…now.
Quit now before you grow stronger.
Quit now before you learn how to live in God’s love and power.
Quit now before you can influence and impact those around you.
Quit now before you walk in God’s power and purpose for your life.
Psalms 73:26 says,“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (NLT)
When your heart is breaking, God is with you.
When you wonder how you will make it, God is with you.
When you are worried about finances and provision, God is with you.
Financial challenges are one of the things that can make you doubt God and feel forsaken.
The author of Hebrews writes to new believers, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’” Hebrews 13:5-6 NIV
Friend, don’t quit, not now, not tomorrow, not ever.
God is with you and He will make a way.

This is powerful! I was a missionary in South America, Africa, and the inner city of Indianapolis for 15 years. Saving for retirement was not an option during those younger years in my life as I was dependent on individual people financially supporting me during my work. The lack of retirement funds has left me awake on more nights than I can count due to anxiety. This is such a beautiful reminder that my future is in the hands of the great Almighty. Comparing ourselves to others is one of the greatest holds that Satan can have on us. God will never leave us nor forsake us. hallelujah!!!
Ingrid, thank you for sharing! I am so glad God used this to encourage you and remind you of the truth that He has you in the palm of His hand.
