Peace in the Madness of the World

True peace isn’t found in the absence of problems, but in the presence of Jesus.

Peace isn’t found in the hope that the world will get it right, it is found in the promise that Jesus already did.

Peace is not about having a day without conflict or suffering, it is about leaning into God’s deep strength to deal with conflict and suffering.

Having peace does not mean having a day without external noise or internal worry, it is about knowing who you are and Whose you are.

Jesus declared in John 16:33, “Everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” (TPT)

Jesus, who faced death and conquered it, doesn’t simply tell you to have peace, He gives you His peace.

He gives you Himself and extends His state of Being to you.

He gives you unhindered relationships with the Creator Himself and the knowledge that you are not alone in this world.

The peace of Jesus is the supernatural, divine state of His Being that faces the darkness without fear and with courageous confidence.

Jesus is the light that overcame the darkness and it is He who guides you through it in the madness that you face today.

You have nothing to fear.

Rest.

Embrace His Peace.

Live in it.

Face the madness with courageous confidence that God will walk with you every step of the way.
