Get Comfortable with Uncomfortable

When Jesus called His first disciples to follow Him, they left everything they knew and followed Him.

They had to leave their comfort zone to follow Him.

They had to leave their “normal” zone when they followed Him and it is the same when Jesus calls you to follow Him.

The moment that you say yes to following Him, Jesus will call you out of your comfort zones.

He will challenge how you see yourself and the limits that puts on your life.

He will ask you to leave “normal” and begin a new “normal” way of life with Him.

Just so you know, Jesus will not stop calling you out of your comfort zone no matter how long you have walked with Him.

Why? Because He wants you to grow to your full potential in Him.

James 1:3-4 says this, “For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” (NIV)

God loves you just as you are and that same love won’t let you stay just as you are.
You are not called to live a comfortable life, you have been called to live an abundant life in Jesus.

You have been called to go.

You have been called to grow.

You have been called to give and to love.

If you think that God is calling you out of your comfort zone- HE IS.

It’s time to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and live the life God has created for you to live.

What comfort zone is Jesus calling you out of today?
