Be Brave

What do you need to be brave in today?

Maybe you need to have a hard conversation.

Maybe you need to ask for help.

Maybe you need to take a risk that will change your situation.

My friend, the thing about bravery is that you don’t have to be brave unless you are facing something that requires it.

Maybe being brave today means keeping your word when you don’t want to.

Maybe being brave today means setting boundaries and holding them when they are challenged.

Maybe being brave today means trusting God to do what you can not.

As the children of Israel got ready to fight for the promised land, God promised Joshua,
“I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage!”
Joshua 1:9 (MSG)

You are not meant to be brave by yourself.

Being brave requires more than a step of faith, it is a walk of faith with Jesus.

One step at a time and continuing to walk through it until the end.

Walking with Jesus means that you are making your decisions based on what is possible with God’s help and power.

Being brave means getting up every morning and keeping your word when you don’t want to.

Being brave means setting boundaries with loved ones and holding to them even when you don’t feel like it.

Being brave means fighting for the promised land with God at your side.

Trust God to meet you where you are and give you the courage to do what He is asking you to do.

Be brave.
