Being Brave

You don’t have to be brave unless you are facing something that requires it.

Being brave means that you are facing something that requires more than a step of faith, it requires a walk of faith.

It means not making your decisions based on what is but on what can be with God’s help and power.

Being brave means getting up every morning and keeping your word when you don’t want to.

Setting boundaries and holding to them even when you don’t feel like it.

Trusting God for the impossible.

That is being brave.

“I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage!”

Joshua 1:9 MSG

Keep going, keep leaning on God and be brave.

  1. With the events that are unfolding in my family, I pray for the ability to walk in faith. What God has planned, I have no idea; I fear the worst by human standards. But I asked for salvation for each of my children and grandchildren. I fear the method that has begun. The trials that I see ahead for others. And knowing that God put me here as a light; will they seek out help?

I ask for prayers for Gavin, his father and mother.

    1. Bonnie, I am praying with you for Gavin and his parents as well as for you. I pray that God will give you a peace that passes understanding as you trust Him with your precious family. They are even more precious to Him.
