Are you struggling with resentment today?
Psalm 25:15 says, “My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.” (NIV)
Resentment can be an emotional snare that traps bitterness in and holds your emotions hostage.
Maybe it started as a string of hurt, never dealt with.
Maybe it was a misunderstanding that triggered an old fear.
However it started, holding onto resentment is like walking around with a chain around your ankle.
The only thing to do with bitterness and resentment is to look to God for help.
You need supernatural help to unlock the chain of resentment in your life.
Ask Jesus to show you where you got snared and ask Him to release you from it.
Galatians 5:1 says , “At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.”
Galatians 5:1 TPT
The power of Jesus will breaks the chains of resentment and bitterness. Take them to the cross of Christ, leave them there and walk in the freedom He has purchased for you today!
