Jesus allowed himself to feel emotions, all of them.
He was angry.
He was thankful.
He knew that feelings are a gift and a part of being human.
He knew that feeling emotions is a part of being alive.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 says,
“There is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,” (NIV)
As you give your emotions space to exist, you give permission for it to move through you instead of getting stuck in you.
You have to feel it, to heal it.
Don’t stuff them down, bring each one to Jesus.
