Stillness for the Soul-drained

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;”

‭Psalm‬ ‭37:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The Hebrew word used for “be still” in this verse doesn’t mean for your body not to move, it means to be silent.

It means to silent your mind, quiet the overthinking and obsessive worrying.

Stop talking about it.

Stop thinking about it.

Stop dwelling on it.

Calm your mind.

Clear your thoughts.

Create space in the silence.

Enter in a quiet space and wrap your soul in the love of God.

I know it is hard. You are worth it.

God is there waiting to meet you and you don’t need words, you need Him.

The longer you stay there, the stronger this “stillness muscle” grows, the more you will capture the grace of God to apply and live in today.

It is how you fill up your tired soul.
