New

What is the story you are living?

What story plays like a background narrative that fuels your choices and drives your focus?

Is it an old story or your new one in Christ?

Jesus came to change your story.

God has called you to live a different story than the one handed down to from your parents or the world.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s a new way of living, of thinking, of being. It is a new story with a new ending.

Sometimes you may revert to your old ways, old why’s, the old dialogue, the old labels, old mode of operation but everyday is a new day to learn how to live with a new narrative- God’s.

In Christ, you have everything you need to live a new one.

“Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God.

The best invitation we ever received!

We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭MSG

This is not a once in a lifetime change, it is an everyday apply the Word of God and learn to live in the grace and power of Jesus Christ change.

Take a moment…take a deep breath, and remember you have a new story to live.

Leave the old one at the cross and embrace the new one with the help of the Holy Spirit.

What story are you living?

True freedom in Christ comes when we crucify our old nature on the cross and rise in the new Christ like nature. I chose daily to follow the Holy Spirit when I make the correct choices then I walk into all that Jesus has for me.
Lazarus had to choose to walk out the cave when Jesus shouted ‘Lazarus come forth’. I daily chose whether to hide in the cave or come out and walk in His light.
Bless You your blog is amazing.
