“I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’
“The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that!
Matthew 25:25 MSG
This verse says it’s criminal to live cautiously with God given-investments.
When God invests in you, puts something in your hand, in your heart or in your personality, He expects you to do something with it.
The third servant in the story took what his master gave him and “dug a hole and buried it” (vs16).
What has God invested in you?
What have you buried in fear ?
Are you growing your gifts?
What does it look like to use and multiply what God has invested in you?
Beth Moore says “Sometimes, we can protect ourselves right out of our calling.”
Cautious Living is a crime in God’s eyes.
He loves you passionately and expects you to boldly put to work the visions, gifts and callings that he has given you.
You may be asking God to give you more…but he may be asking, “What are you doing with what I’ve already given you?”
