I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.”
Jude 1:1 NLT
When I read this verse, It makes me ask myself these questions:
Am I living in the invitation of God?
Am I receiving His love or so caught up in what I am doing or how I am feeling that I am missing it? He is loving me, am I recognizing it?
Am I living like I’m cared for or like I have to take of myself?
When I read this verse it reminds me of the things I seem to forget when life gets overwhelming:
- I have been invited to live in this relationship with God Almighty: as a trusting child to a faithful Father.
- I am loved.
- I am in the care of Jesus Himself- spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
- I am being cared for. I don’t have to strive to take care of “number one” or stress to win the approval of mankind. I am God’s and in the care of Jesus I am called, loved and kept safe.
He will walk with me, guide me, bring me back when I wander off course and challenge me to trust more, believe more and let go of fear more everyday.
Accept God’s invitation to live as His cherished child.
Let Jesus take care of you.
You are called, loved, kept and cared for.
