Anxious Thoughts

Anxious thoughts find their way into the quiet moments, the loud moments, the fearful moments and especially the tired moments of your life.

Accompanied by fear driven emotions, anxious thoughts can so easily lead you down the dark road of restlessness.

When that restlessness is relentless, it is time to ask God a question:

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139:23-24‬ ‭NIV

God did not create you to live in confusion and He does not cause anxieties in your life.

You live in an anxious world but you are not created to live in anxiety.

You live in a stressful situation but you are not created to live stressed.

The war within you was won on the cross and Jesus is the one who will lead you in the way everlasting.

He knows you better than you know yourself and will cut through the overwhelming emotions to the very root of the ruling fears.

In Christ you are created to live in connection with God:

In Prayer: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In Peace: “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In Perspective:I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus will quench your anxious thoughts, and His Spirit will fill your heart with His truth in the your quiet moments, the loud moments, the fearful moments and especially the tired moments of your life.

Jesus is more powerful that your anxious thoughts and will arms open wide invites you into His embrace today.
