The secret joy of a Christian life is this: it is not the task you do, but how you do the task.
There is no task too small for it not to done with honor, respect and love.
There is no time spent that is too small for it to go unnoticed by God.
More important than what you do today is how your heart is engaged in it.
It’s value is not measured by visibility or importance, necessity or need. It measured by heart engagement.
When you do whatever you must do wholeheartedly and for God, the spiritual wealth of your life increases exponentially no matter what is in your bank account.
The real secret is no secret at all, but we like to complicate it. It is powerfully simple:
Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. (Colossians 3:23 AMP)
It has been written down for all to see and proven by the millions who live whole heartedly for the glory of God.
What work do you have to do today?
Whatever it is, may you pour your heart into it and serve those around you with the same excellence that you would serve God Himself.
