You are going to have to work and get stuff done.
You have some projects to start and some projects to finish.
Tie up those loose ends.
I just wanted to remind you that there is one thing you don’t have to work at: your relationship with God.
Work on a project, respond to God.
His sacrifice on the cross was certainly set before you clearly enough. Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to God’s Message to you?
(Galatians 3:1-2 MSG)
When you are feeling overwhelmed with the week ahead, the best thing to do is bring your focus back to the cross of Christ.
It is the game changer. The place where you laid down your burdens and invited a Savior to take them and you.
And he did.
Go on as you began- at the cross.
Are you going to continue this craziness? For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. If you weren’t smart enough or strong enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it?
Did you go through this whole painful learning process for nothing? It is not yet a total loss, but it certainly will be if you keep this up! (Galatians 3:1-4 MSG)
Go ahead tackle your projects with gusto after you have a good strong cup of coffee and then take a moment to remember that your biggest job for God today is to respond to what He is doing in your life.
