It doesn’t mean that you aren’t human or don’t feel discouraged, drained or tired.
It means that you won’t quit.
It means that you will hold onto God when you have let go of everything else and let Him hold onto you.
It means that you know you are weak but you also believe that God can be great in you and through you.
It means that you have decided to live for Him no matter the opposition, the hardships, the impossibilities or even by the let down from the un-fulfillment of your own expectations.
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 NIV)
May you be unfazed by the difficulty before you and filled with God’s strength to face the world courageously, armed with a treasure so great that the only One who could pay for it was God’s own Son.
You hold within you a costly love that has already been paid for so that you could give it away for free.
“Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8 NIV)
