Pace Setter

There are a lot of things (and relationships) that fight to be the pace setter for your life:

Your job
Your goals
Your family
Your church
Your significant other
Your health

The above vie for first place and then are complicated by the list below:

Fear of failure
People pleasing
The past

It is easy to see how your life can begin to feel like more of a blur than a blessing.

If you don’t choose your pace setter- the most urgent crisis will always beat out the rest.

But God wants to be the Pace Setter for your life.

Your only Pace Setter.

He wants to help you run your race at the right pace for you.

“What we’ve learned is this: God does not respond to what we do; we respond to what God does. We’ve finally figured it out.

Our lives get in step with God and all others by letting him set the pace, not by proudly or anxiously trying to run the parade.” (‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭27-28‬ MSG)

What would happen if you began to run your race at God’s pace and no one else’s?

What would your life look like?

What would need to be cut out?

What needs to be added?
