Things change, you change. You are changing all the time.
This part of your life is a part, not a prison.
It is a season that will pass soon enough and then you will be in a new season.
Each season comes with it’s own challenges, wonders, griefs and gifts.
This is the season you are in now.
God knows what your journey is and where you are on it. We may be surprised, but He is not. You may feel unprepared, He is not.
Be committed, loyal, strong and steadfast in it. Do the best you can, where you are, with what you have.
And what you have is God’s Word, God’s ways and most importantly God’s power to do it.
I’m not trying to get my way in the world’s way. I’m trying to get your way, your Word’s way. I’m staying on your trail; I’m putting one foot In front of the other. I’m not giving up. (Psalm 17:4-5 MSG)
Before you begin to think about New Years resolutions and all the things you want to change, realize that you are already changing.
You are already equipped to grow and rise to the challenge of your present situation.
You don’t need more New Years resolutions, you need help to get the most out of the changing season your are in.
You don’t need a list, you need a guide:
Take me by the hand; Lead me down the path of truth. You are my Savior, aren’t you? (Psalm 25:5 MSG)
What truth do you need to walk in during this season?
You can’t do it alone and you don’t have to.
