For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
It is so easy to just see the difficulty, the problem. To fearfully anticipate the overwhelming shame of the situation you are going through right now but that is the exact time when you need to see beyond it.
That is the time you need to refocus on the future and remind yourself of what is important.
Remind yourself of why it is important to go through it with integrity, intention and to invest your energy in the future past the trial.
Don’t loose sight of the future and don’t sacrifice it to your present trouble.
For the joy. For the restoration of mankind to God. For the intimate relationship with you. That is why Jesus went to the cross. He sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. As an advocate and as the authority.
What is your joy?
Your advocate sees your future and has the authority to give you what you need to get to it.
