Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. (Psalm 8:2 NIV)
Praise will shatter strongholds and worship unleashes God’s glory.
It doesn’t matter if the praise comes from the mouth of a child or is expressed by an infant whose heart swells in wonder at the beauty of a butterfly.
Our words become weapons in the hands of a Mighty God.
He chooses the foolish to confound the wise, the weak to overcome the strong.
Because He is glorious, He can use authentic praise uttered by the weakest of us to establish a stronghold against the enemy.
Because He is awesome, He can use the weakest vessels to silence the strongest foe.
God has chosen to empower your praise and arm your worship.
He has chosen to use your words to wage warfare with.
Don’t focus on the battle, focus on the praise.
Don’t focus on the warfare, focus on the worship.
Let God be God and let your words rise in worship to the glory of God to be used by God for whatever He chooses to.
Use your words.
