A Persevering Moment

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” (‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ NIV)

What has Christ taken hold of you for?

To limp along in compromise?

To go back to old dead destructive habits?

To hold on to the past?

He took hold of you to walk with Him.

To run the race set before you.

To go forward in new healthy holy habits.

To look toward the future with hope and the assurance that whatever it holds, Jesus will walk thru with you.

Press on.
Don’t give up and don’t go back.

“So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.” (‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭15-16‬ MSG)
