If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly…(Jeremiah 7:5 NIV)
This verse was written in a time when people where coming to the Temple and worshiping God. The problem was that they also worshipping idols.
They kept their idols and added God to their lives.
A thriving relationship with God will always challenge you to grow, to change and to get rid of any idols.
God will challenge anything that you worship other than Him, anything that keeps you bound to it by fear or allegiance. Anything that demands destructive offerings and keeps you bound to past lies.
Big or small, God wants you to get rid of the idols in your life.
He wants you to be free.
He wants you to be blessed.
He wants more than words, He wants action.
Because words become worthless when action is absent.
What idol do you need to smash today?
Have no doubt, action is required.
