Simplify your Source
But now, O Lord, upon what am I relying? You are my only hope! (Psalms 39:7 NET)
The times in my life when I was at the end of my own resources, the end of my own power and even the end of my “own righteousness” has been the times when I have experienced what relying on God really means.
I know it is the same for you.
You can trust God but how will you ever know if you are relying on other things instead?
Fill in the blank:____________.
When they all fail (and they will), God still stands strong.
When you realize you can’t rely on finances, health, control or whatever it is you rely on to give you what you need, you will come to a place of freedom.
Simplify your Source.
God is your source, your provider, your sustainer. He is your creator, your counselor, your savior.
Don’t mourn the loss of your old foundations of strength and do not resurrect them.
Simplify your source:
look to your God for it all.
