In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. (Psalm 25:1 NIV)
It is like a spiritual TRUST bank account that you withdraw from when you need to. But is also means you can invest in it as well. Invest in it by worshipping him, walking with him and spending time in his truth.
It also might be time to take your “trust” out of places it doesn’t belong:
-money or possessions.
-knowledge or education.
-yourself (I can do this on my own!)
The above are not bad, but they are not God. They will disappoint (because they are human) and let you down or be gone like the wind.
God, on the other hand, says:
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV)
Where have you put your trust? It is never to late to make a transfer.
