I am sleepless tonight. I often am. Instead of allowing the anxiety of things undone to overtake my mind, I am reminded to permission gratefulness to overwhelm my soul and quiet it. To reflect on the wonder of God instead of the worry of life.
“and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips When I remember You upon my bed and meditate on You in the night watches.” (Psalm 63:5, 6 AMP)
The Message Version says “If I am sleepless, I will spend the hours in grateful reflection”.
And while I am up, I’ll write today’s blog on what to do when the sleepiness night unfolds: grateful reflection and worship.
I hope you had a wonderful night and it wasn’t a sleepless one.
I pray you have a wonderful day and it is a productive one.
Either way- if moments of anxiety or unrest sneak up on you my prayer for you is that you answer it with grateful reflection and worship. Have a wonderful praise and gratitude filled day!
