Out with the Old, In with the New

“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from where they are and make a brand new ending.” – Unknown.

One of the greatest things about a new day is that with it comes with new opportunities to change. You might not have been happy with how yesterday ended but it is over. You can’t go back. Let the past go (even if is a very recent past) and launch into this day with a new perspective given to you straight from heaven’s gates: out with the old, in with the new.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
( 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)

You are a new creation in Christ. This statement is not past tense. It doesn’t say you were a new creation the second you got saved and from that moment you have been getting old again. No, the Word says you are a new creation. Present tense.

What does God want to do in you today?
Something new.

New mentalities
New habits
New hopes
New attitudes
New love
New life

Yes, it is definitely an out with the old and in with new kind of day.

Have a great one, my friend. Don’t be afraid to release the past and embrace the new you in Christ.
