Write It Down

And look at it every morning.

My husband got me this mug at Starbucks that you write on. My cup has the following quote on one side of it:

“Do that which is assigned to you and you can not hope too much or dare to much”. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

The quote reminds me that there are important things that only I can do. They are things assigned to me.

Like:
1. Take care of my body
2. Feed my soul
3. Flirt with my husband
4. Inspire my children
5. Write my blog

But these can also be the very things that move from the top of my To Do List to the bottom of it as I take care of everything else and everyone else.

So I put “Make it happen” on the other side.

It is my reminder to: Do the things only I can do- delegate everything else.

You can get these great mugs at your local Starbucks or online at

What’s the most important thing you need to do to move toward the change you need?

Write it down- and look at it every day.

This is just one great idea of how to do that 🙂
