When the Apostle Paul wrote to the brand new believers in Thessalonica, they were already facing great opposition and persecution because they had turned from the culturally accepted religion of worshipping idols to worshipping the unseen God through Jesus Christ. Paul wrote this prayer to them: “May the Master take you by the hand and lead you along the path of God’s love and Christ’s endurance.” (2 Thessalonians 3:4-5 MSG)
Today, I am praying this same prayer over your life.
Know that God’s love surrounds you when you get up in the morning, surrounds you throughout the day, surrounds you as you lay down to sleep. And that the very endurance of Jesus will empower you to press on.
My friend, as you walk with God today, may His divine endurance empower you to stay faithful to who He has called you to be.
