When you are discouraged about the future, look to God. Look to the God of love who has broken the power of sin on the cross for you. Look to Jesus Himself to fill you with joy, peace and the possibilities of God as you trust in Him. Jesus died and rose again so that your hope would not lie in the power of man but in the power of God. My friend, as you look to the future don’t be tempted to look to the past to determine its possibilities, look to the God who holds you (and your future) in His hands.
May you live today in the fullness of God’s presence and let His hope for your future fill you with courage to face it head on.
