Jesus came so that you could live so close to the Father that the shadow of His love could cover you.
He went to the cross so that the presence of Almighty could be a refuge from the storm raging around you.
He came to be a fortress of peace to run to when you are weary of fighting.
He is the door into the refuge of God’s presence and the key to opening it.
It is His hope that holds you when you feel like giving up.
It is His strength that you can hide in when you are too tired to try.
Jesus defeated death and cleared the way so you could be free to depend fully on the power of God when there is nothing else to depend on.
