So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Colossians 3:12-14 MSG
Quiet Strength is the inner strength that no one sees.
A strength that gets up when it is tired.
Does the right thing when it doesn’t feel like it.
Holds on when it wants to let go.
Pushes through when it would be easier to quit.
It isn’t pretty or soft.
It is quietly determined and infused with a healthy stubbornness.
Your life requires strength.
This kind of strength.
You can’t do it without Jesus and He doesn’t ask you to.
It’s His strength for you, dropped over your shoulders when you need it.
Don’t give up.
Lean on Jesus today and be clothed with His quiet, strong, stubborn, overcoming, strength.

Thank You for your words of encouragement today and always
You are so very welcome, Bonnie. Thank you for faithfully following my blog posts!
Beautiful, love this reminder I don’t need to do it on my own strength. I can rely on Gods strength 😇
Amen!
The words I needed to read and ingest for such a time (week) as this. Thank you for stewarding my thought committee that has been working overtime in my head.
Cora, I love how you worded this comment and I am so glad I get to encourage your thought committee to chill!
