In a relationship, lip service does no one any good.
Not in your relationship with Jesus, yourself or anyone else.
It is better to be honest with what is going on and how you are feeling.
That is the only way any relationship thrives.
Do you feel stuck or numb in your relationship with Jesus?
Be honest with Him about where you are and how you are feeling.
Be honest about what is going on in your heart. Isaiah 29:13 says, “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
You don’t need flowery words or religious words.
Just be honest.
No lip service needed to access the heart of God.
