Your promised land is right before you.
It is where you are, transformed by God’s transforming love:
It is your heart and mind transformed by God’s love.
It is your relationships transformed by God’s love.
It is your workplace transformed by God’s love.
It is your parenting transformed by God’s love.
It is you – transformed by God’s love and God using you to transform your surroundings.
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15 (NIV)
Ask God to give you His vision for your life.
See it through His eyes.
Taste the bounty you will cultivate.
Feel the joy of living it.
Be filled to the brim with the love of God and then let it overflow to everyone around you.
This is your promised land.
You don’t have to wait for it, begin to live in it today.

Thank you for your devotions this past week. They have reassured, given peace and allowed me to focus on the promises and future God has in store for me and my family. It’s been a Rollercoaster and I presume following God will always be. It’s just nice to be reassured of who we are in God and our purpose. I would rather be in this Rollercoaster knowing that God is driving than feeling hopeless that chaos and circumstance drive. That’s the freedom in Christ! I do what God has for me to do and the rest of the craziness is for God to mitigate. I just keep my hands and feet inside the cart and ride.
