The first thing on your to-do list today should be to go after a life of love.
To make loving God and loving others your top priority.
“Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it—because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth”.
1 Corinthians 14:1 MSG
God has given you Himself and He IS love. You will not ever fully understand the depth and breadth of it but you have been redeemed and recreated by it.
When you don’t make love your first and foremost priority- you will begin to feel empty and frustrated. More money, more stuff, more accomplishment will mean nothing if your life is not filled with love.
You have been redeemed to love and are being re-taught by Jesus what true love is, God’s love not the world’s. And as He teaches you what it looks like, He will equip you to live it.
Jesus has plans for you to be used by Him this next year and all of them revolve around a lifestyle of loving God and loving people.
That is it.
